It is Time. Make it Happen.

It is amazing how we deal with certain things. But it also really makes me angry.

The rape cases in India has, in a hindsight, given the rest of the world an outlook on how issues like these are caused by the common man against an innocent community. Young girl as young as 8 are being abused in the name of religion, which frankly speaking isn’t what the phrase ‘Incredible India’ is supposed to mean.

India is incredible in terms of it’s culture and traditions and beautiful scenery, but when its own people deny the cultures, how can it be incredible? When all these issues popped up in India (suicide, rapes, etc) and how they were being ignored all because of the stereotyping surrounding these issues. The world had awakened and beckoned a change. But it fell on deaf ears so nothing could be helped.

What India needs isn’t a new set of rules or a change in the system. What it needs is a rebirth. A clean slate, it will only come if things are done right. We need a common mindset on all of it and show what we are capable of.

If things aren’t done and India does not change, then the old generation will be the only ones who would want to go back. Because as of now, I don’t see anyone in the generation who is willing to stay in India, permanently.

I’d say it would take a long time, but optimism isn’t a good thing when it comes to India changing. India will only change if it is willing to. If it is still ignorant of their surroundings then India will still be backward by the time 2050 comes rolling in.

India doesn’t want a change. It needs to rejuvenate. It needs to improve.
